FAQs | Kadence Block Collections

If I’ve already bought a theme, is the matching block collection part of the package?

Of course! By purchasing a Kadence + Kadence Blocks theme you will also have the direct key of the attached Block Collection, therefore there is no need to purchase the respective Block Collection separately, as you will have this Kadence Theme + Block Collection.
On the contrary, however, if you decide to purchase only the Block Collection, you will not have the attached theme included in your order.

What is the difference between a Kadence Block Collection and a Kadence Theme?

A Kadence Block Collection and a Kadence Theme serve distinct purposes in the WordPress ecosystem. A Kadence Theme is a comprehensive design framework that provides the overall look and feel of a website, including layout options, color schemes, typography, and various customization settings. It dictates the foundational appearance and structural aspects of your site. In contrast, a Kadence Block Collection is a set of modular content blocks that you can use within the WordPress editor to build and customize pages and posts. These blocks offer specific functionalities, such as galleries, testimonials, call-to-action sections, and more, allowing users to create rich content with ease. While the Kadence Theme sets the stage for your site’s design, the Kadence Block Collection enables detailed and dynamic content creation within that framework.

Can I use a Block Collection with Elementor?

No, sorry. Block Collections only work with the Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence Blocks (and builder). Therefore they will never work neither with Elementor Free, nor with Elementor Pro or other WordPress builders.

What is not included with the purchase of a Block Collection?

Paid fonts, WordPress themes, Kadence Child themes of Her creative details, Her creative details Cloud access and Bundles, additional plugins or tools are never included in the purchase of a Block Collection.

Do I need to have Kadence Pro to purchase this item?

Absolutely not. All my Kadence Child Themes and Block Collections are built with the free version of Kadence, so you don’t have to have any paid kadence plugins. However, some additional functions require Kadence Pro, such as the integration of the newsletter module into the various pages (the standard contact form is included in the Kadence Free features). Then if you want to purchase the free plugins for other reasons, you are completely free to do so. They are very useful. You can purchase Kadence Pro here (affiliate link).

What are the requirements to use one of your Block Collections?

The only three important requirements are:

1. Have a website on WordPress.org with a top-level domain.

2. The fee kadence theme, installed, activated and updated.

3. Install Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence Blocks plugin.

My Block Collections don’t work with WordPress.com, Elementor, Showit, Shopify, Wix etc.

In how many websites can I apply a Block Collection?

Each purchase corresponds to a single standard commercial license, so you can apply this collection within only one website at a time.

Will the Block Collection automatically use the fonts and colors of my existing theme?

Absolutely! Unlike Kadence child themes, Block Collections will adapt to the fonts and colors you set yourself in Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Colors & Fonts.

Can I use one of your Block Collections with other themes like Blocksy, Spectra etc?

My themes were built with Kadence as a parent theme, so their design (as you see it in the live demo) is mostly compatible with Kadence and they require Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence Blocks as a builder, no other plugins or builders.
However, you can also use a Block Collection with Blocksy but if you have this theme, it will not be the same as the design in the live demo because you would have to independently rebuild the parameters and bases that the Block Collection had in Kadence.
Block Collections are not compatible with Spectra or other themes.
For an optimal experience, I strongly recommend using them with Kadence.
