Today I will tell you about my personal experience with Tailwind. If you follow my blog, you will surely have read my articles where I tell you about the moment I decided to start a blog and a website in 2018.
I wanted to combine my passion for details with the organization of the small aspects of daily life. I wanted my blog to be helpful for all those people who do not know how to focus their passions within a website and I wanted my blog to be of help to all those who were looking for a way to organize the small aspects of daily life through printables.
But I had no idea how to do it. I was not a professional, but just a simple student and I didn’t know neither how to create a blog, nor how to use the tools to manage a website. I thought that managing a blog and social channels was too big a commitment for a simple student who had no skills in this regard.
Don’t get me wrong, it is always an excellent choice to rely on professionals in the sector, who have studied the marketing and social media sector for years, but today I can tell you one thing in total sincerity: you can manage your blog very well, create almost completely professional graphics and do much more thanks to some tools created especially for this purpose that can simplify your work by halving the time you have to be in front of the PC.
Once again I have to be particularly sincere: as I just wrote, managing a blog is a job that requires patience, dedication and perseverance even if you use tools that manage to halve the time you spend in front of the computer. But let’s take a step back, here’s my story.
How I reached 10,000 monthly blog views thanks to Tailwind: my story
It was the year 2018 and as I wrote to you at the beginning of this article, I had just created a blog. I was looking for a way to manage it correctly despite being a simple student. So I started following some successful bloggers on social networks with the hope of finding some tutorials that could help me manage my blog in the best possible way and quickly create simple graphics to post on social networks to read the articles of my blog. to my readers.
And so, after a few days … I found what I was looking for! I found an article by a famous blogger who talked about Tailwind and how it had helped her with the traffic and graphics of her blog.
Shortly thereafter, I started studying, researching and understanding how I could use Tailwind for my blog.
In the end I decided to buy the basic subscription plan to Tailwind, I started using the tribes (of which I tell you here) and driven by curiosity I decided to use Tailwind create to create templates for my Pinterest pins.
Based on my personal experience, Pinterest is one of the best tools for increasing your blog traffic, remember? I dedicated an entire article to the importance of Pinterest.
The problem, however, was one: I didn’t have a team to help me manage my blog and my online shop. I was a simple student and I was the only person managing my blog. I could rely solely and exclusively on my strength and energy, and this often made me feel a little stressed because I realized that I had to keep up with a thousand things to do. But in the end, Tailwind helped me with that too.
10.000 page views a month? Yes, it’s possible. Today, after a few years of running my blog, I can confidently tell you that joining Tailwind was one of the best choices I could make. I started making the graphics of my pins quickly and easily and I started scheduling the publication of my pins at strategic times so that my blog traffic could reach decent results. I still keep the analytical data screen of my pins from the first months of using Tailwind, I’ll show you immediately:
The text of the screenshot is in Italian, but I managed to reach 10 thousand monthly views of my pins starting practically from scratch. Fortunately, to date I manage to maintain around 10 thousand monthly views without too much trouble.
Please, note: I upgraded to a Pro account in 2019 after one year of creating my blog. Each result is purely suggestive and the results vary according to several factors. There is no single collective end result.
I hope this article has been helpful to you, otherwise I will be happy to answer your questions or clarifications that you can leave below in the comments.
