Hello Lovlies! Today I’m going to discuss a minimalist approach to a skin care routine! To me, the most important products in a skin care regimen are: a mask, a cleanser, a toner and a moisturizer. This the bare bones basics of skin care, and I often use this approach when getting ready for my day.
Minimalist skin care routine: what do you recommend?
Here are my favorite products for a minimalist skin care routine:
1. Freeman Oil Absorbing Mint and Lemon Clay Mask or Formula 10.0.6 Draw it all Out Charcoal and Plum Peel Mask
I love both these masks so much! The clay mask from Freeman recently became a staple in my routine. It draws out impurities and leaves my skin feeling thoroughly clean. The Formula 10.0.6 mask is a close second, as it has similar cleansing and will not dry out your skin.
2. Noxema Classic Clean Cleansing Cream
I have used this since I was a teenager and I have yet to let it go. It’s a wonderful follow-up to a mask, and it great for those with sensitive skin.
3. Thayers Witch Hazel in Rose Petal or Cucumber
Witch Hazel is a proven way to remove dirt, refresh the skin, get rid of shine and improve scars and blemishes
4. CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion
After all that cleansing, you need a moisturizer to help keep your skin from drying out! This particular lotion is very good at replenishing the hydration in your skin without clogging your pores.
I hope this gas been helpful in keeping your minimalist skin care routine simple and easy! Comment below with questions! Thanks so much for reading.
