Step 5: Edit menu, header, footer, home page, blog and shop layouts

Having already successfully imported the #2 file that I explained to you in the previous section, the header and footer design is already like that of the live demo and you just have to customize it with your information.

01. How to edit Menu

Go to your WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > and from here you create your menus by adding the elements you prefer to the sidebar on your left.

Where exactly do you want to see the menu you create? Don’t forget to check the box for your menu location on “Menu Settings” at the bottom of the page.
In case you want to apply a single menu to both Primary, Mobile and Footer you must select all three options.

02. How to edit Header & Footer

Go to your WordPress Dashboard > Templates > Theme Builder > choose the elements you want to modify. This is the structure of your website.

03. How to edit Homepage Settings

Also for this important step, go to your WordPress Dashboard > Customize > Homepage settings.

Click on “A static page” > choose the page you want to set as homepage. If you want to set one of the live demo layouts, just choose the page you prefer from this list, for example Home Page 1 or Home Page 2.

04. How to edit Blog and Shop Layouts

Continue reading if the theme you purchased includes multiple layouts from the following categories: Single Post Blog, Post Archives, Single Product, Product Archives.

Go to your WordPress Dashboard > Templates > Theme Builder > choose the elements you want to modify.

For example, the live demo design you see in “Post Archives” will be set as default and will be specified as DEFAULT.

If you don’t like it, if you want to build a completely new one or if you want to set the second Post Archives Layout that is provided in your theme, just change the conditions and set to “Edit Conditions” and select “All Post archives” to show this templates in the archives of your blog posts.
