Import and install your Kadence Child Theme

I suggest you watch all the videos in this playlist created by the developers of the Kadence parent theme to understand how to configure the child theme you purchased. The edit procedure is the same for all the child themes that you find on the Her creative details website.
Here I will show you how to import and install the theme you purchased in just a few steps.

01. Unzip the zip file #

Unzip the zip file you downloaded immediately after your purchase.

The zip file, specifically, is called: (FULL) YourThemeName WordPress Theme.
For example: (FULL) Violante WordPress Theme.

02. Import your theme #

Go to your WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Themes > click on Add new > Install and activate the Kadence parent theme that you find in that section of the directory.
Subsequently, after importing the Kadence base theme, go to Themes again > click on Add new > Upload Theme.
Finally, import only and exclusively file number 1 that you find on your computer into the folder where you decomposed the large zip file.
The file you need to import will have this name structure: “01. YourThemeName Theme (import this zip file)”.
For example: 01. Violante Theme (import this zip file).

Import only that, and finally, when you have imported it click on Activate.
Congratulations, you have just successfully imported and installed the theme you purchased!
Keep reading the sections that follow.
