Here I will show you how to import the exact theme settings and page content + design of the live demo.

Single Page design #

Having already successfully imported the file from the .XML format that I explained to you in the previous section, you should already have the theme’s live demo pages within your website.
The pages already have their final design as you see them in the live demo.

Optional: Manual upload
In case pages are not visible within your website with the theme design you have chosen, you have to manually upload them one by one by simply copying and pasting them. Let’s see how.

Go to your WordPress Dashboard > Pages > Customize > and in the left sidebar at the bottom click on Export/Import.

Select the page you want to edit > Edit.
See the top bar of the page at the top where there are the following buttons: “Switch to draft”, “Preview”, Update” and the three dots next to it which correspond to the “Option” command?

Well, click on these three dots and select the “Code Editor” option.
At that point go back to your computer and go to the “Pages HTML” folder that I have attached to you inside the mega zip file that you have decomposed.
Select and open the text format document that you want to import and that corresponds to the name of the page in which you want to insert that content.
For example, if you are editing the “About” page on your website, on your computer you will need to select and import all the contents of the “About” document that you find in the folder.
If your theme has multiple layouts on the same page (such as on the home or about pages), choose the layout you like best by helping yourself with the live demo of the theme.

Select all the document content and then paste everything directly into the page of your choice in your website as it is still in Code Editor mode.
After pasting all the material, click again on the three dots of the top menu and click again on Visual Editor > Update.
This step is crucial as it allows you to copy the pages exactly as they are in the live demo.
Strictly follow the steps listed above and make sure that when you paste the content of a document, the WordPress page is in Code Editor mode.

Repeat the step for all the pages of the live demo you want to import and at that point you just have to edit the images, text and all the other elements you want.
